Who we are

ScooterParks is a UK-based directory and review site for scooter parks, run as a small independent project. Contact: hello@scooterparks.co.uk.

Using the site

You can browse parks, read reviews, and use the map without an account. To submit ratings, save parks, or upload photos you need an account. By creating an account you confirm the information you give us is accurate.

If you're under 13, a parent or guardian needs to approve your account before you can upload photos. See our privacy policy for details.

Acceptable use

Don't:

• Post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit.
• Pretend to be someone else or impersonate a park or business.
• Upload photos of identifiable children unless you're their parent or guardian and consent to them being public.
• Spam, automate, scrape, or otherwise abuse the service.
• Submit false reviews — including paid-for reviews or reviews of your own park.

We can remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules, at our discretion and without notice.

Your content

When you post a review or upload a photo, you keep ownership of it, but you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display it on ScooterParks. You can delete your content at any time via your profile.

Photos are reviewed by a moderator before they appear in public. We may reject photos without explanation.

Park information

We do our best to keep park details (opening times, facilities, contact info) accurate, but parks change things without telling us. Always check directly with the park before travelling. We are not responsible for closed parks, changed pricing, or facilities that turn out not to be there.

Liability

ScooterParks is provided “as is”. Scootering is a physical activity with risk. You are responsible for assessing whether a park is suitable for the rider, for wearing appropriate protective equipment, and for following the park's own rules.

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss or injury arising from your use of the site or visits to parks listed on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it can't be limited under UK law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on the site. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
